She has been both agent and co-author of six published books including Beyond The Male Myth (Times Books), Husbands & Wives (Times Books), Not Tonight, Dear (Doubleday) and Singles: The New Americans (Simon & Schuster). Her work has been syndicated by The New York Times Syndication Service.
She also was a columnist for a major New York daily and a national magazine. She has appeared on hundreds of TV/radio shows including Good Morning America and The Today Show. Her work has appeared in most of the nation’s newspapers and magazines including The New York Times, TIME magazine, and The Washington Post. Oprah featured one of her books on her show.
Jackie has been a literary agent for more than 20 years and has helped nurture the careers of several prominent authors.
Carol H. Green
reported on law, government, social issues and investigative projects, wrote for the editorial page and/or edited for four newspapers for 15 years (The Denver Post, Shreveport Times, and two daily newspapers in Guam).
Mid-career she earned a Masters of Studies in Law at the Yale Law School in the first class of a Ford Foundation Fellows program to improve news coverage of the law. After completing her J.D. at the University of Denver and admission to the Colorado Bar, she worked at Newsday in Long Island, NY in management positions for 10 years before returning to Colorado.
At The Denver Post, she was senior vice president of labor relations and human resources and general counsel, as well as a member of the newspaper’s senior executive committee, which directed business, labor, human resources, distribution, financial, sales and marketing strategy.
She brings her legal and marketing background to the literary agency, but working with writing and writers remains her first love.
Both Jackie and Carol are members of the Authors Guild, Naples Press Club, Naples Council of World Affairs, and Circumnavigators Club. Jackie is a member of Welcome to Florida International Club. Carol is a member of the Suncoast and Colorado chapters of the International Women’s Forum, the Lighthouse Writers Workshop in Denver, WorldDenver, and the Executive Women’s Golf Association.
